Pictures of The Good The Bad and The Very Ugly

Really ugly due to fertilizer burn, not my best effort

More ugly, this fuchsia was almost loved to death, now on the mend

That same fuchsia. The flowers weren't affected

Flowers from the fuchsia above

a little crooked but coming back, note the dead leaves in the foliage

Thank God I didn't fertilize the Begonias. This is one of the runt baskets that I was able to keep for our porch

  1. Hi Steve I was wondering will you have that orange flower on your poach next year.if you do I sure would like to get on..Thank Virginia..p.s I have of your greenhouses and I sure do like it..can’t to start panting again……Virginia

    • Howdy Virginia, I will have lots of those Begonias next spring. There are several that are similar and I will be doing all of them.
We plan on opening for retail sales on the weekends next spring starting toward the end of April. We will be open Friday Saturday and Sunday. Hence the name Weekend Nursery.
How do you like your house so far? If you send me some pics in an email and I will try to post them to this blog.Hope the house went up easily for you. Now you will learn about that sickness known as “can’t wait for spring so I can plant syndrome” It happens every year no matter how long you have a greenhouse. I have started a tradition of planting my first tomato seeds on Christmas day.
      Happy greenhousing.
